KDIPA participates in the opening ceremony of the Kuwait Business Center

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) organized an opening ceremony for the Kuwait Business Center (KBC) on September 28, 2016. KBC was established by the collaborative effort of Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), MOCI and the National Fund for Small and Medium Enterprise Development.

H.E. Dr. Yousef Al-Ali, Minister of Commerce and Industry, opened the ceremony with a speech assuring that the ministry is working towards facilitating the process of issuing commercial licenses to align with the current laws of KDIPA and The National Fund.

Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Director General, represented KDIPA at the ceremony along with Mr. Mohammad Al Sabbagh, Head of Investor Services, Mr. Bader Al Ruwais, Mr. Mohammed Al Methen, and Mr. Abdullah Bandar, One Stop Shop Department, amongst a number of government officials from different sectors that are involved in the process of issuing commercial licenses to illustrate KBC’s aim of gathering these sectors into one place.

During the closing ceremony, governmental representatives were honored in recognition of their efforts towards working on establishing KBC to ease the process of issuing commercial licenses.
