Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the seventh meeting of the Joint Kuwaiti-Finnish Committee, during October 4 – 6, 2016 in the State of Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti delegation was headed by Mr. Khaled Al Shamali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, while the Finnish delegation was headed by Mr. Matti Antonin, Undersecretary of State for External Economic Relations. KDIPA representative, Ms. Reem Al Shaya, Head of International Agreements Section, provided highlights of KDIPA’s law and the incentives and guarantees offered to foreign investors to the Finnish delegation. The delegation was also informed about the country’s legislative and economic environment, and KDIPA’s role in streamlining the business environment in the State of Kuwait as well as its pivotal role in attracting foreign capital.
