Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the 12th Economic Dialogue between the GCC and the European Union, held in Brussels, Belgium on November 22nd, 2022.
KDIPA gave a presentation in the dialogue sessions titled (Al-Abdali Economic Zone), which included activities, sectors, industries, and the most prominent development projects that serve Kuwait Vision 2035, within the framework of issues related to new Mega Gulf projects and opportunities available to attract European private sector investments.
The economic dialogue is held between the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the European Union on a regular basis since 2003 with the aim of enhancing and raising the level of economic cooperation and exchanging expertise and experiences and benefiting from them between the two sides.
Amongst the topics discussed are the latest economic developments and investment opportunities in the GCC region and the European Union which included a visual presentation titled “Al-Abdali Economic Zone” that highlighted the latest activities, sectors and Industries that are in-line with Kuwait’s Vision 2035.
KDIPA was represented by Mrs Reem AlShaya, Director of the Legal Department, and Ms. Farah AlOjeri, from the Economic Zones Department.
