Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) as part of its mission as the elected Vice President of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) co-organized FDI in 2025 Conference along with WAIPA titled “Insights & Trends Shaping the Future of Investment”, on February 21, 2025, in London, United Kingdom.
KDIPA’s Assistant Director General for Business Development and Vice President of WAIPA Mr. Mohammad Yousef Mulla Yaqoub gave an opening statement along with Mr. Ismail Ersahin, Executive Director and CEO of WAIPA, and H.E. Ambassador Sadiq Marafi, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Europe. Also, H.E Mr. Bader Al-Munaikh, Ambassador of State of Kuwait to the United Kingdom attended the conference.
The conference brought together key stakeholders to discuss current economic and social issues facing the globe, find solutions to current obstacles, and enhance the investment ecosystem’s resilience and inclusivity for the future of FDI.
In the conference, two sessions were held discussing the recent FDI trends, challenges, opportunities, navigating financial investment and targeting strategic investors. An exclusive IPA-Ambassador Roundtable was held, discussing strengthening investment collaboration.
KDIPA was also represented by Mr. Bader Al-Jadi, the Director of the Promotional Activities Department, Ms. Lulwa Al-Askar, Head of Public Relations Section, Mr. Turki Al-Dabous, from Control and Inspection Section.
