KDIPA participates in the Kuwaiti Banks Reception and Economic Dialogue during the IMF–World Bank Meetings in Washington, D.C

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the Kuwaiti Banks Reception and Economic Dialogue organized by the Kuwait Banking Association under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Basel A. Al-Haroon, Governor of the Central Bank of Kuwait, in Washington, D.C., on 15 October 2025.

The event was attended by senior officials, including H.E. Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Acting Minister of Finance, and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment; H.E. Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United States; and H.E. Mr. Jasem Al-Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), along with senior representatives from Arab and international banking institutions. 

KDIPA’s Assistant Director General for Business Development, Mr. Mohammed Yousef Mulla Yaqoub, also participated in the Private Sector Dialogue titled “Kuwait’s Economic Transition – Foundations for a New Era,” held in partnership with The George Washington University. 

KDIPA was also represented by Sheikh Ali Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, One Stop Shop (OSS).

This participation comes within KDIPA’s ongoing efforts to enhance economic cooperation, support private sector development, and promote Kuwait as an attractive investment destination.
