Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in a meeting held at the Ministry of Defence during the visit of an official German delegation to the State of Kuwait. On October 18, 2026.
H.E. the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah Meshal Al-Sabah, received Mr. Robert Dieter, Deputy Director General and Commissioner for Export Control and Security and Defence Industries, and Dr. Christian Konow, Head of the Federal Defence and Armaments Department at the German Chancellery.
During the meeting, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, including areas of cooperation and coordination between the State of Kuwait and the Federal Republic of Germany in relevant fields, in addition to an exchange of views on several regional and international matters.
As part of the meeting, KDIPA delivered an introductory presentation on the role of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority and the establishment of foreign entities in the State of Kuwait.
KDIPA was represented by Mr. Khalifah Al-Sabah from the Project Evaluation and Grants Section and Mr. Salem Al-Naqeeb from the Investor Targeting Section.
