Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the first Kuwait International Trading Fair themed “Kuwait is the world’s business heart”, under the patronage of His Highness the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, organized by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, during 21-27 February, 2016. Over 25 international and Arab sectors participated as well as Kuwaiti governmental institutions, attended by diplomats, ambassadors, business owners and investors. The Fair was opened by HE Dr. Yousef Al-Ali, Minister of Commerce & Industry, who stressed that the fair seeks to develop international trade relations and contributes to the promotion and development of trade relations in various fields. KDIPA’s participation fortified the promotion of Law No. 116 of 2013, by answering inquiries from visitors and possible investors, as well as presenting the incentives and guarantees that KDIPA provides to the investor.
