Representative of His Highness The Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received members from Alphabet, Google and Microsoft in New York City on 18th September, 2023.
KDIPA was assigned the task of organizing this meeting and was represented by its Director General, H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, H.E Undersecretary of H.H the Prime Minister’s Diwan Sheikh Khaled Talal Al-Khaled Al-Sabah, H.E. Director of the Office of H.H the Prime Minister Hamad Bader Al-Amer.
Topics discussed included the development plan for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence solutions, alongside measures Kuwait is taking to help create a distinguished digital infrastructure capable of attracting investment assets and ways to improve bilateral relations to enhance competitiveness and investment opportunities.
H.H. the Prime Minister pointed out that his meetings with representatives of the American companies came in implementation of H.H. the Amir and H.H the Crown Prince’s directives to open prospects for constructive cooperation with American economic institutions and benefit from their experiences in various fields. He also affirmed Kuwait’s readiness to provide all means of support and facilitation for investors and to create a solid and developed investment environment.
