KDIPA accompanies H.H. the Amir on official visit to France

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) accompanied His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on official visit to the  French Republic, where he met with H.E. President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic, in which KDIPA Director General Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was part of the official delegation, during July 13-14, 2025. 

On this occasion, 2 declaration of intent were signed between the State of Kuwait and the French Republic on the French-Kuwaiti strategic partnership for investment during the period 2025-2035, and on strengthening cooperation in the cultural field and celebrating the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026. 

During the visit, high-level meetings were held with the Minister Delegate for Foreign Trade and French Nationals Abroad, Mr. Laurent Saint-Martin, several members of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the General Director of Gustave Roussy, Prof. Fabrice Barlesi, accompanied by the International advisor and Head of International Affairs at Gustave Roussy, Mr.  Rémi Thiolet. His Highness highlighted the importance of strengthening the partnership with the French Republic in both the healthcare and investment sectors by enhancing cooperation with major companies, promoting knowledge transfer, attracting capital, advancing healthcare services, and developing national human capital to support the economy, create job opportunities for youth, and drive sustainable development. 

H.H. the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation that includes H.E. Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya and several senior state officials.
