Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and “The Business Year” hosted the second event in the Thought Leadership Circle series titled “Urban Growth & Investment” at Chairman’s Club in Kuwait on February 13, 2025.
The session was opened by His Excellency Mr. Abdulatif Hamad Al-Meshari, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, who delivered the keynote speech. KDIPA was represented by Mr. Mohammad Yousef Mulla Yaqoub, Assistant Director General for Business Development, who delivered the welcoming speech.
The main discussions focused on the key drivers of urban growth in Kuwait, supported by real estate development, technological innovation, and strategic investments. Also, urban planning for population growth and the future of housing development, with a focus on key opportunities for sustainable growth and innovation.
