Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) co-organized a training program with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS) and Boubyan Bank, titled “Change Management from a Lean Perspective,” for its employees as well as employees of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) and the Public Authority for Manpower. The program was held from September 8-10, 2025, at KDIPA’s headquarters.
The program aims to develop administrative efficiency, reduce paperwork cycles and errors, and enable employees to lead development projects in a way that enhances speed of execution and contributing to cost reduction, while focusing on providing participants with practical experience based on best practices and aligned with the work environment in Kuwait.
The two-day training program was delivered by Mr. Abdullah Al-Hussainan, Head of Change Management Office at Boubyan Bank, Mr. Hussein Najim, Executive Manager CMO at Boubyan Bank, and Mrs. Mariam Dashti, Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement Department at Boubyan Bank.
KDIPA was represented at the closing session of the training program by Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Al-Sabah, Assistant Director General for Investment Operations, who delivered the closing remarks, along with Mr. Mohammed Yousef Mulla Yaqoub, Assistant Director General for Business Development, and Dr. Barjas Faleh Al-Hajri, Assistant Director General for Financial & Administrative Affairs.
Representatives of the cooperating entities included Mr. Abdullah Al-Tuwaijri, Chief Executive Officer of Consumer, Private, and Digital Banking at Boubyan Bank, Mr. Abdullah Al-Mehri, Chief Operating Officer at Boubyan Bank, and Mr. Bassam Al-Faili, Director of Corporate Development at KFAS.
