The Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), in cooperation with the Insurance Regulatory Unit, held an awareness lecture on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, on the Insurance Regulatory Unit.
The lecture aimed to educate KDIPA employees about the objectives of establishing the Insurance Regulatory Unit, its role, its mandate, and its importance in regulating insurance activities in line with international best practices. It also aimed to ensure compliance with laws and regulations related to insurance activities, benefits, risks, and associated obligations, and to encourage its development.
The lecture was attended by Dr. Barjas Faleh Al-Barjas, Assistant Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs. The lecture was also attended by Osama Al-Suraye, Director of Corporate Communications, Hamad Tifuni, Director of Administrative Affairs and Human Resources, and Talal Al-Aoun, Head of Complaints.
