Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) in its role as Vice President of the Steering Committee of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA), organized a training program for its employees across various departments and representatives of investment promotion agencies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, in collaboration with WAIPA, during the period October 1–2, 2025.
The organization of this training program comes within the framework of advancing economic and investment integration among the GCC countries and in line with the directives of Gulf leadership to enhance cooperation.
The 2-day training program was delivered by Mr. Andreas Dressler, Managing Director & Founder of FDI Center, and Mr. Dushant Thakur, Deputy Executive Director at WAIPA. The sessions covered several topics, including capacity building, knowledge exchange, regional cooperation, and the future of foreign direct investment (FDI).
The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Barjas Faleh Al-Hajri, Assistant Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs at KDIPA, in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Mulla Yaqub, Assistant Director General for Business Development at KDIPA.
