KDIPA organizes a seminar on the Latest Developments to licensed investment entities and companies approved

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), in collaboration with Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP), organized a specialized seminar for licensed investment entities, and companies approved by the Authority. The seminar aimed to review the latest incentives available to investors and discuss the most recent legislative developments related to the Direct Investment Promotion Law while fostering direct engagement with the investment community. On June 24, 2026, at Grand Hyatt Hotel.  

H.E. Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of KDIPA, gave the opening remarks which reaffirmed KDIPA’s commitment to maintaining open channels of communication with investors, listening to their views and recommendations, and continuously enhancing Kuwait’s business environment to strengthen the country’s competitiveness as an attractive investment destination. 

The seminar included a presentation by Sheikh Abdullah Sabah Humoud Al-Sabah, Assistant Director General for Investment Operations highlighting the latest incentives and benefits available to licensed investment entities under Law No. (116) of 2013, in addition to an overview of the latest developments and services provided to investors, Ms. Nouf Al-Muzayyan, Head of Investment Projects Follow-Up Section presented the suggested incentives and benefits. 

The program also featured a presentation by Engineer Naif Al-Hadad from Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP), covering the latest proposed amendments to the Public-Private Partnership Law and their role in supporting development projects and expanding private sector participation in implementing strategic projects.
