Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) organized an introductory workshop for trainees of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), within its eighth program for new graduates 2024-2025, on January 28, 2025.
This aligns with the country’s vision on the importance to invest in Human Capital.
The program looked to transfer knowledge gained by KDIPA employees and covered the following key topics: an overview of the Direct Investment Promotion Law No. 116/2013, KDIPA’s facilitation and aftercare model, KDIPA promotional activities, and the investment climate in Kuwait.
The introductory workshop was delivered by Mrs. Reem Al-Shaya, Director of the Legal Affairs Department, Mrs. Dana Al-Qabandi, Head of Licensing and Investment Records Section, Mrs. Shaikha Al-Hashem, Head of Planning and Development Section, Mrs. Hessa Bouresli, Head of the Investment Promotion Department, and Mr. Ali Ghareeb, Head of the Investor Targeting Section.
