Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the 10th Belt and Road Summit, organized by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), with the participation of government officials, business leaders, and economic delegations from various countries. The summit was held during 10-11 September 2025, in Hong Kong.
The sessions focused on emerging markets and rapidly growing sectors such as aviation, finance, and technology, highlighting digital innovation, investment flows, and cross-border cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), with the aim of exploring trade and investment opportunities and strengthening economic partnerships among the member countries.
KDIPA was represented by Mrs. Muneerah Al-Mulla, Investor Services Section, who gave a presentation on the investment climate in Kuwait, and the strategic opportunities available across the country.
