Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the economic meeting between Kuwait and Oman that was held on the 2nd of October 2018 at the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The opening speeches were delivered by His Excellency Mr. Ali Mohammed Thunayan Al-Ghanim, Chairman of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who headed the Kuwaiti side, and by His Excellency Mr. Qais Bin Mohamed Bin Moosa Al-Yousef, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
KDIPA was represented by Mr. Mohammed Yousef Mulla Yaqoub, Assistant Director-General for Business Development, who gave a presentation on the investment climate in Kuwait.
The meeting aimed to enhance the trade and investment relations between the two countries by setting up joint projects within the framework of the Kuwaiti development plan and by achieving economic integration between the two countries.
