Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the first meeting of the coordination committee in the fields of Investment, Environment and Infrastructure between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which was held in the State of Kuwait on October 9, 2023.
The Kuwaiti side was headed by Mrs. Aseel Al-Munaifi, Undersecretary of Ministry of Finance, while the Saudi side was headed by Mr. Badr Al-Badr, Deputy Minister for Investors Outreach at the Saudi Ministry of Investment. The bilateral discussions resulted in 18 initiatives and several Memorandums of Understanding in various areas of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
KDIPA was represented by Mrs. Reem AlShaya, Director of the Legal Affairs department and Mr. Mohammad Jafaar, International Agreements section.
