Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the introductory seminar on the Arab Investment Court held under the patronage of the Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and acting Minister of Justice and of State for National Assembly Affairs H.E. Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah on November 1, 2016. This seminar aimed to shed light on the importance of the Court established under the unified agreement for the Investment of Arab capital, which is a guarantee of safety for the Arab investor, and was attended by undersecretary of the Supreme Court of Appeal and the president of the Arab Investment Court of the Arab League adviser Essam Al-Saddani.
KDIPA representative Ms. Fatima Al Sayegh, Head of Cases & Investigation Section, took part in a panel discussion during this seminar where she discussed the legal issues face by national and foreign investors in Kuwait.
