Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) participated in the inaugural Professional Ethics Forum on December 4, 2017. The event was organized by the Kuwait Banking Association and was held under the patronage and with the presence of H.E. Khaled Nasser Al-Roudan, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs.
KDIPA was represented by Mr. Mohammed Yousef Yaqoub, Assistant Director General for Business Development, who also participated in a panel discussion on the impact of professional and practical ethics on attracting and developing investments.
The daylong event, attended by business leaders and senior government officials, was designed to provide attendees with insights on a variety of topics such as combating administrative corruption, the impact of compliance with professional ethics on competitiveness, and global best practices for compliance with professional ethics.
