KDIPA’s continues its Strategic Partnership with Bloomberg at WEF 2026

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) continues its strategic partnership with Bloomberg, focusing on promoting “Invest in Kuwait” that aims to highlight the direct investment opportunities in the country in alignment with Vision 2035.  

This ongoing collaboration was highlighted at Bloomberg Davos House, organized in conjunction with the attendance of the State of Kuwait’s High-Level Delegation at the World Economic Forum (WEF2026) in Davos on January 20, 2026.

As part of the initiative, KDIPA and Bloomberg arranged several key activations, including a high-level panel discussion entitled “Future-Proofing the Gulf: Prioritizing Sustainable Growth.” The distinguished panel featured H.E. Dr. Sabeeh Abdulaziz Al-Mukhaizeem, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Acting Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investments, and Chairman of KDIPA’s Board of Directors. He was joined by Anthony Gutman, Co-CEO of Goldman Sachs International. The panel discussion was moderated by Lauren Kiel, Global Head of Community Innovation at Bloomberg Media. Together, the participants discussed the evolving role of Kuwait’s government in economic development, the critical importance of empowering the private sector, and effective strategies for investing in youth to foster innovation and support sustained regional growth. 

This session brought together prominent figures to exchange insights on economic transformation, competitiveness, and the pursuit of long-term sustainable development throughout the Gulf region. 
     
Following the panel, H.E. Dr. Al-Mukhaizeem was interviewed by Ashish Verma, Bloomberg Media Studio Global Head for “The Brief,” where they discussed Kuwait’s development progress and investment opportunities.
