Representative of His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, participated in the 79th session of the UN General Assembly and the Summit of the Future in which KDIPA Director General, Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah was part of the official delegation, on September 20-26, 2024, in New York, USA.
KDIPA was assigned with the task of organizing high level meetings with the U.S Chamber of Commerce and CEO’s of leading U.S. companies.
The high level bilateral meetings were held with members from Blackstone, The Carlyle Group, The Goldman Sachs Group, Microsoft, US Chamber of Commerce, State Street, Fairfax Financial Holdings, Lockheed Martin, Fluor Corporation, Honeywell, Bentley University, Marathon Digital Holdings, Visa International, Organon, Abbott, Google, the World Bank Group, and BlackRock from September 20-26, 2024.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, H.E. the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United States of America Sheikha Al-Zain Sabah Al-Naser Al-Sabah, and the Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations H.E. Ambassador Tariq Mohammed Al-Banai.
Several topics were discussed, including economic and investment issues, the latest global developments, and ways to enhance cooperation between the parties.
