11 November- 2014, Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) Director General Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah hosted a pre-launching of operations work dinner for all KDIPA staff at Jumeirah Hotel on Sunday evening of November 9, 2014. Dr. Meshaal started by recalling the main developments that occurred since the issuance of Law No. 116/ 2013 for Promoting Direct Investment in the State of Kuwait, during the early transition phase to complete the disengagement with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and later throughout the establishment phase, whereby all the legal, administrative, organizational, financial, logistics and IT requirements were addressed duly. Furthermore, the Assistant Director General for Financial & Administrative Affairs as well as all heads of the working teams provided an overview highlighting main achievements during the said period. In his concluding address, Dr. Meshaal thanked all the staff members and called upon them to continue with their dedicated efforts to ensure success in the launching of operations in light of KDIPA’s mandated tasks and goals.
