13-Nov-2013, Kuwait Foreign Investment Bureau (KFIB) participated in the meeting organized by the Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting (GOIC) in Kuwait in cooperation with Kuwait’s Public Authority for Industry (PAI) during the period 10 – 12/11/2013 in the Free Zone at Shuwaikh Port. The meeting was led by the Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Information & Studies Sector at GOIC and aimed at collecting the needed information to complete their study on “Treatment of Manufactured Products within the GCC Economic Clusters”. KFIB delegate explained the current transitional status after the passage of the new Law No. 116 for 2013 for promotion of Direct Investment in the State of Kuwait, on June 16, 2013 whereby it repealed Law No. (8) of 2001 and transferred all funds, assets, liabilities and rights of KFIB to the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA).
