The National Offset Company organized a seminar on the subject of “offset and foreign direct investment” in conjenction with the Kuwait diplomatic institute. Presents were Ambassador Abdul-Aziz Al-Sharekh and a number of foreign ambassadors in kuwait as well as representatives of the Kuwait Foreign investment Bureau(KFIB).Further more, KFIB gave a presentation on law No.8 of the year of 2001 and the planed amendments and updates to the current law.
As pointed out by the Chief of Foreign Investment Bureau, a remarkable cooperation between KFIB and the offset program to promote foreign partnership in Kuwait is being implement. The Chief has also mentioned future plans which aims to promote investment opportunities in the state of Kuwait to foreign investors.
