The Board of Directors of the newly established Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) held its first meeting on Tuesday July 30, 2013, headed by the Chairman of the Board H.E. Minister of Commerce & Industry Anas Khalid Al Saleh. The Board discussed the needed the requirements to transfer all the assets, funds, obligations and decisions of Kuwait Foreign Investment Bureau (KFIB) to the new authority (KDIPA). The Board also approved the proposed organizational structure, and authorized KDIPA ‘s appointed Director General to follow the needed procedures to obtain the necessary approval from competent authorities.
