Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) and U.S. Chamber of Commerce co-organized the 5th Annual “U.S.-Kuwait Economic Forum” part 2 which was held virtually on March 15, 2022.
This forum is the second part of a two series, that focused on discussions addressing U.S.-Kuwait Strategic Dialogue and the Economic Trade & Investment and Climate Change Subgroup, Strategic U.S.-Kuwait Strategic Defense Partnership and A Sustainable Future for Kuwait: Opportunities for Collaboration.
Welcoming remarks was given by Steve Lutes, Vice President, Middle East Affairs, U.S. Chamber of Commerce followed by opening remarks given by Pete Swift, Chairman of AmCham Kuwait, and Mr. Karthik Ramanathan, Senior Vice President, Global Clients Division, State Street.
KDIPA representative, Mrs. Reem AlShaya, Director of the Legal Affairs Department at KDIPA, took part in the discussion on the overview of the U.S.-Kuwait Strategic Dialogue and Economic Working Group alongside Mr. James Holtsnider, Charge D’Affaires, U.S. Embassy in Kuwait.
