The Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) organized two workshops titled “Corporate Governance in the Public Sector” for executive and supervisory staff on June 4 and June 10, 2026. The workshops were attended by KDIPA employees and representatives from the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
The workshops aimed to strengthen the understanding of corporate governance in Kuwait’s public sector, raise awareness of governance principles and their importance, and highlight mechanisms for their implementation within government entities. They also addressed methods for measuring the level of governance implementation through institutional assessment and evaluation.
The workshops were conducted as part of the requirements of the Corporate Governance Train-the-Trainer Program organized by the Civil Service Commission. The program supports the accreditation of Ms. Fatima Al-Sayegh, Director of Technical Office and Governance Department, and Eng. Ebtehal Al-Mesbah, Head of Governance and Sustainability Section as certified national trainers in the field of corporate governance, further supporting KDIPA’s efforts to promote sound governance practices and enhance institutional performance and efficiency.
