Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA), the representative for the regional directorship of the WAIPA steering committee for the MENA region, participated in the 26th World Investment Conference 2022, which was held on 13 – 14 September in Geneva, Switzerland.
The World Investment Conference presents a platform and an opportunity for IPA’s to come together and discuss current economic and social issues facing the globe and find solutions to current obstacles for the future of FDI (Foreign Direct Investment).
KDIPA assistant Director General for Business Development Mr. Mohammed Yousef Mulla Yaqoub took part in the panel “Creating & crafting investable projects: How can IPA’s engage with financial investors to create investable projects” in addition the authority had a booth at the conference. This participation is aimed at fostering and strengthening ties with various IPA’s for a prosperous future for FDI.
Also representing KDIPA at this event Mr. Abdulrahim Ayad, Investor Targeting Section and Mr. Faisal Haji, Head of Communications Section.
KDIPA has a long-standing membership in WAIPA’s Steering Committee that began in 2006 and for the first time KDIPA is the regional directorship of the WAIPA steering committee for the MENA region.
