Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) received a UK Trade Mission delegation that consisted of members from the Energy Industries Council (EIC), on February 21, 2017, in coordination with Kuwait British Business Center.
Mr. Mohammad Yaqoub, Assistant Director General for Business Development, welcomed the delegation and informed them about the investments opportunities in the State of Kuwait and the importance of economic diversification.
Sheikh Abdullah Al Sabah, Director of One Stop Shop Department, and Mr. Hamad Al Saad from the One Stop Shop department gave an informative presentation about why Kuwait and the country’s current direct investment law No. 116 of 2013 that entails a transparent methodology for granting incentives and guarantees.
