26 May, 2015: Members of the Board of Directors of Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) attended a presentation provided by the international consulting firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill Inc.(SOM), contracted to perform the feasibility study for Kuwait Economic Zones in Abdali, Shaghaya (Naaem), and Al Wafra at KDIPA premises on May 25, 2015. The meeting was attended by the local partner Gulf Consult, as well as the manager and staff of the Economic Zones Department at KDIPA. The presentation covered the main outcome and results of the six reports deliverables covering economic, engineering, environmental, financial, promotional and legal aspects. The meeting ended with discussions on potential options and the way forward.
