27- May – 2013, The Kuwaiti Moroccan Commercial Commission held its first session in Rabat during the period May 19-23, 2013 to foster the commercial and investment relations between both countries. The Kuwaiti delegation was headed by HE Anas Al Saleh Minister of Commerce & Industry, and HE Abdelkader Amara Minister of Industry, Commerce & New Technology.
An expert meeting was held ahead of the ministerial meeting in which several cooperation protocols and agreements were signed covering FDI protocol, industrial cooperation, customs administration, encouraging exchange of visits amongst businessmen.
Both parties reiterated the need to enhance economic, commercial, and investment relations to the highest levels concomitant with the strategic partnership Morocco enjoys with the GCC countries. In this regard the third GCC-Moroccan forum was held in Tangiers, Morocco, on May 5-6, 2013.
