8-Nov-2012, Kuwait Foreign Investment Bureau (KFIB) participated in the radio AM540 program (Legal Talk) of Kuwait, on November 1, 2012, represented by Dr. Barjas Al-Hajeri, Head of the Legal Section in KFIB. In the program, Dr. Al Hajeri presented highlights of law No. 8/2001 regulating Direct Foreign Capital Investment in the State of Kuwait, related incentives and guarantees, while addressing some constraints within the law. Furthermore, he highlighted current efforts contributing to transforming Kuwait into a financial and commercial hub, promoting Kuwait as an attractive investment hub, and the available lucrative investment opportunities in the country. Dr. Barjas Al-Hajeri tackled ongoing measures to facilitate KFIB’s goals of attracting foreign investors into Kuwait. He concluded the interview by welcoming interested foreign investors, asking them to visit KFIB head quarters for any inquiries.
