11-November-2012, Kuwait Foreign Investment Bureau(KFIB) held a 2-day workshop during the period 22- 23 October 2012, under the theme “The Role and How to Use Social Media to Enhance Promotional Efforts to Achieve the Investment Objectives “, at Movenpick Al Bida’a, in cooperation with Global Consultants Training & Consulting. The workshop, which is the first of a series of capacity building workshops planned for this fiscal year, was presented by Mr. Khalid Alzanki promoter and CEO of Zanki Enterprises for marketing and launching of products and services online. The workshop focused on introducing social media networks (SMN) platforms, their communications strategy, and reasons to integrate SMN within overall marketing campaign to attract potential investors. Furthermore, the six principles to achieve social impact were analyzed. The workshop concluded with several interactive exercises and practical applications based on leading international SMN-based promotional activities and how to use them optionally to achieve the desired goals.
