September 8, 2014: Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) extends its utmost congratulations and esteemed greetings to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of announcing HH a “Global Humanitarian Leader” and in parallel declaring Kuwait a “Global Humanitarian Centre” by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. This attribution comes in appreciation of HH the Amir’s long history of supporting humanitarian work all over the world for victims of natural disasters, political conflicts and for combating poverty and hunger. It also reflects the global community appreciation of the extended and distinguished role the State of Kuwait has extended for supporting humanitarian action under HH leadership which is source of pride for Kuwaiti people and government.
