Arab Investment Meeting: Investment Attractiveness Gap” Kuwait: 11 – 12 December 2013

Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority (KDIPA) will jointly hold the “Arab Investment Meeting: Investment Attractiveness Gap” in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute (API) and the Arab Investment & Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (Dhaman) in Kuwait during the period 11-12 December, 2013. The meeting will be attended by a host of government officials, and representatives from investment promotion agencies, regional organizations, and Arab business community. It intends to provide a platform to generate meaningful dialogue between policy makers and investment promotion agencies to determine potential areas of strength and weaknesses, and assess investment attractiveness in the Arab countries comparing gaps with performance. It will also shed light on recent developments in regional agreements as well as on financing and guarantee coverage for investments, concluding with recommendations for improving coordination and future action.
